The Indians are a great motorcycle and we hope that they do come back online the second half of 2006 as they`re hoping. We`re keeping our fingers crossed for them! As far as saddlebags go, the fitting will depend upon the specific model, so please select your motorcycle from the available sub-categories for specific information.

Fitting Information:


The recommended saddlebags for the Indian Chief motorcycle are the 2900-BK and the 1900-BK. Other saddlebags that fit are the 2000-BK, 2500-BK, 1500-BK, 2400-BK and the 1400-BK.


The 6000-BK and the 7000-BK series would be a great fit considering the Chief`s enclosed backend.


Easy Brackets makes a kit for this motorcycle that fits 2001 and later Chief models.

Like the Indian Scout Spirit, the Indian Scout Scout can fit our larger saddlebags, like the 2900-BK and the 1900-BK if you relocate your turn signals. Other saddlebags that fit are the 2000-BK, 2500-BK, 1500-BK, 2600-BK, 1600-BK, 2400-BK and the 1400-BK. As you can see from the photos below, the 1500-BK tends to be quite popular.


Now, we`ve had some reports about saddlebags interfering with non stock seats. We highly recommend that you measure the horizontal distance across the fender rail from the tail light to the seat edge to ensure you have enough room to fit the bag. The bag`s dimensions are listed at the top of their information pages.
