How Long Will it Take?


The length of time between when you place your order and when you receive it depends on two factors: the production/operation cycle and shipping.  Generally, we ship out leather goods in about 3-5 business days from when you order, unless you request our 'Fill It Fast' service, in that case it will be filled the next available business day (per the Fill it Fast guidelines).  However, if there is a change to our schedule (such as a holiday), we will post notices throughout the website, including on the left hand navigation under 'Announcements'.


Shipping Time:


Shipping transit time depends upon the method and where you live.  UPS Express and Expedited services are by far the quickest, and custom clearance costs (but not any applicable duties and/or VAT) are included in the quoted shipping price.  For USPS Global Express (or Global Priority for packages 4 lbs or less), the shipping time depends much upon your country's postal service and their motivation on getting the items through customs.  The shipping table below is based on our actual experience - the estimates given by the United States post office differ from our personal experience.  Because of the great number of lost packages or excessively long delivery times for items sent via AirMail and Economy / Surface, we no longer offer these shipping services.

For example, a customer living in Australia who has requested his order to be shipped USPS Global Express should expect his package in about 5 to 7 business days.


* USPS Global Priority is for packages 4lbs or less.  Will not ship via general post office to the following countries:  Mexico, anywhere in Central or South America, anywhere in Africa, Eastern Europe, Italy, Korea, China, Indonesia, India or Pakistan.  Shipments to these and some other countries will only be sent via private carrier (e.g. UPS).  Custom clearance fees not included; please check with your local post office to determine these fees.


** Customs clearance fees are included; dutes / VAT / taxes will be collected upon delivery.


Canadian Brokerage Fees - UPS Standard Ground

Although UPS Standard Ground shipping may look attractive, do keep in mind that there are customs clearance charges associated with it. Below is a table to give you an idea of these charges as based upon the value of the merchandise. Please keep in mind that these are estimates and are subject to change - but some information is better than none at all. For insurance reasons, we cannot understate the value of the package.

Surface & Airmail Limitations

 

Because of the number of lost or excessively delayed packages (e.g. taking two months to deliver a properly documented package via AirMail to Canada), we no longer office Surface/Economy and Airmail shipping services.  Although some shipping services may cost a bit more, they do offer much better assurances that the items will be received, intact, in a reasonable time frame.

 

Duties & Taxes

We do not pre-collect duties and taxes.  Canadian and Mexican residents do not have to pay duties, as our products are 100% USA made, thus exempt under NAFTA.  However, VAT probably will apply based on the invoiced amount. 

 

For other nations, we do have some tax and duty information for various countries that can assist in figuring out how much you need when you claim your package (for your reference, our Harmonized code for our products is:  4202.11.0000).  Sorry, we cannot understate the value due to insurance reasons.

How to order:  (if the shopping cart is throwing you fits...)

 

The new shopping cart system should make ordering by our international customers a lot easier.  You can obtain shipping quotes by simply adding items to your basket / cart and only partially going through the check-out process (providing up to your shipping address and then, on the next screen, a list of shipping options will appear). 

Although we do not expect much difficulty in using the cart, if you have specific issues, or simply do not wish to use the cart, we offer several alternatives.

 

1)  For orders going outside the United States (this does NOT include Puerto Rico, Guam, APO/FPO and other US Territories which have adopted the US Postal Zip code system), you may wish to submit your order via FAX.  A FAX-able order form can be found here.

 

The Order Form can then be Faxed to 1-724-445-7633.  Please do sign the Order Form where noted for Credit Card payments.

 

2)  Pay using PayPal.  PayPal is free for people sending money, only the merchants (us) get charged.  You can pay through PayPal using a credit card too.  Our shopping cart is fully integrated to accept PayPal payments.

 

2)  Give us a call.  Granted, it's long distance, but it can work.  Our direct international number is 1-724-445-2441.

 

3)  Mail.  Using the fax form above, you can mail in the order.  You may pay by check (US funds please), money order or credit card.  Please, NEVER send cash. Please do sign the Order Form where noted for Credit Card payments.

 

Do keep in mind that we will send every package insured and require tracking for most orders.  We do not pre-collect duties and these will be due when you pick up your package.  Your local post office will be able to fill you in on the rates.
